Play Alone or Online

In Joy Ride the user can experience the thrill of classic go-kart riding, or the exhilaration of off-road driving.  There are five different game modes to select from.  The user can play by himself, ride with a co-pilot, or team up with friends and family to challenge the Xbox live community.

Game Play

In order for the user to maneuver his or her vehicle over and around the obstacles, he or she must twist and move his or her body.  So not only is this game great fun, but it gets people up off the couch and exercising, without even realizing they are.

As the user races through the three unique worlds with stunningly rendered landscapes, he or she will navigate obstacles, drift through corners and fly off jumps.  There are six hyperactive courses and a wide variety of environments that appeal to everyone from amateurs to the most skilled gamer. The faster the user maneuvers the course and the more mid-air acrobatics he or she performs, the better he or she will do in the game. The user can compete to  earn boosts, power-ups and other items to increase the fun.

Additional Equipment Required?

The Xbox Kinect system works with any existing Xbox 360 systems, all that is required is a Kinect Sensor. Once this is plugged in you can experience the thrill of gaming with only your body and your voice as the remote. The sensor scans in each users voice and body, from head to toe, to capture every motion.

Any Concerns?

The only real concern with this game has been the price. Some people who have purchased this game seem to feel that it is not worth the cost. Others have gotten around this buy purchasing the game at a discount. It is easy to buy this game at a lower price than you would pay for it by purchasing it new. You can buy it used.
