In Minotaurus, the mighty Minotaur is charged to protect a secret temple which is hidden deep within a labyrinth. The objective of the game is to be the first to lead your heroes to the temple.  Players must avoid the Minotaur and block opponents.  This can be achieved by strategically placing walls to block them. The hedges and walls create a maze that players need to maneuver through. To do this they roll the Lego die and move forward that number of spaces. Since the die has rubber edges it bounces and rolls more than ordinary dice, which can add to the fun.  If the die lands on black, the player who rolled it can move the Minotaur 8 spaces.  This allows that player to potentially knock out one of his or her opponents and send them back to start. Should the player roll a grey, then a grey wall brick can be moved to block his or her opponents’ path, or to keep the Minotaur from reaching him or her.

There are simple rules make this game great fun for the whole family.  Minotuarus is structured to take 20-30 minutes to complete, and can be played by two to four players.  There are 224 pieces and 12 LEGO microfigures.  Along with the LEGO Minotaurus, there are many other great Lego toys, like LEGO City Airport, available these days as well.
