Who wouldn’t want an iPhone 4S? Christmas time is almost upon us again. If you are looking for that perfect gift for your gadget loving son or daughter, what better gift than the new iPhone 4S? Have Sprint? Not to worry. Sprint has decided to carry the new iteration of the product line as well as make its network available to iPhone telephones. This means that every major cell phone carrier will offer coverage for the telephone. If your child doesn’t yet have one because your carrier didn’t support it or you are just late getting them the latest in mobile technological advancements, the entrance of the iPhone 5 is a great opportunity to give a gift they will love.
iPhone 4S Features
The fifth generation of the marvelous product is going to be something that will be on everyone’s wish list this year. Even though Apple has been pretty tight lipped about what features the phone will have, there are many rumors floating around and pretty valid speculation about what the phone will do. Here are a few of the (almost) 100% speculations:
- Chat Feature: If you ever had a Blackberry, you probably loved the Blackberry messenger. It was something that allowed other users of the same phone to communicate with each other. This feature, called iMessage, will be included with the new OS.
- Cloud Based Features: Users of the new phone will have access to a cloud based storage drive which will pull any videos, music, files, etc. directly to their telephone. With the accessible storage drive, you won’t need to fret about what size phone to get your child as the storage possibilities are limitless.
- Way Faster: The new phone will have a new chip! No, not a potato chip (which if dipped in chocolate does make a pretty good Christmas present) but the new A5 chip. This little giant can do basically 2x the calculations as the current chipset with the same power usage.
- Better Camera: The older models had a pretty ratty camera compared to other competing brands like Samsung’s and HTC’s offerings. To stay competitive, the iPhone is expected to have a clear 8 megapixel camera which should have 3-D and panoramic capabilities as well as making their video chat service clearer than before.
- Bigger Screen: The phone will have a larger screen then it’s predecessors and be smaller in height, though it is expected to be a bit wider and thinner.
If you haven’t yet bought the iPhone into your family, the iPhone 4S is a perfect release and should be available before Christmas 2011.
